Summary:
Mink reaches the train station. A train arrives and the rich passengers board it. He watches as the various "Negro" train personnel manage the various operations of the train. He makes his way to the empty waiting room and falls asleep on a hard bench after the conversation with the night operator. Mink will remember this very scene many years later.
