No one will tell her what has happened to Goodwin so she lets a drunk soldier pick her up who tells her about the murder Goodwin committed in the Philippines. She keeps looking for him until she finds out he is in Leavenworth Prison. She gets a second job to save enough money to buy a ticket to travel there.
Summary:
