Summary: 

Flem drives his wagon among the people watching Armstid. As Flem comes to a stop and turns to look into the garden, the people look at him. Two boys come up behind the digging man who furiously spins around to ward them off, but trips and falls to the ground. After a time, Armstid gets up and returns to his digging, and Flem departs.
