Summary:
After his first outburst of anger at being watching, Henry becomes seemingly obvious to the spectators. Most watch from a distance; only the "half-grown boys" attempt to bother him (404). The people who stayed into the sunset would see Mrs. Armstid arrive by wagon and leave her husband a "pail" by the corner of the fence and then depart while her husband worked on.
