Courthouse and Square in "Centaur in Brass" (Location)

Courthouse Square is the center of Jefferson and Yoknapatawpha, spatially, politically and socially. It appears in many of the fictions Faulkner sets in the county. It also serves us as the place to locate events that are not attached to any specific site; in the case of "Centaur in Brass," we are using it as the Location for the passages in which the narrator addresses the reader from a point in time after the story has happened.
