Summary: 

Sutpen returns and learns that Henry killed Bon. The source for this passage is very ambiguous. Quentin refers to "Father said" up to this moment, but in this passage his father is referred to - three times - as "Mr Compson" (222-23, which Quentin would hardly do. Similarly, Rosa is suddenly called "Miss Coldfield" instead (222). On that basis we attribute the passage to the novel's third-person narrator, who has used those terms - Mr Compson, Miss Coldfield - in the earlier chapters. [SOURCE: Narrator; Father, Rosa]
