Description:

In “Tomorrow,” Ishman Quick tells Chick Mallison and Gavin Stevens about Stonewall Jackson Fentry’s work at Quick’s Sawmill as a young man. Fentry served as watchman and caretaker, running the entire mill himself for two years. Quick’s Sawmill is also the place where “Miss Smith” gives birth to her son and dies. Quick explains that after Miss Smith dies, Fentry quits his job at the sawmill and returns to his home with the baby.
