CUT: one last time in hopes of discovering why he killed the warden to whom he was so devoted. In a baffling conversation, Monk reveals that he knew that making whiskey was "wrong," then adds that he did not know the correct stop to get off on when traveling to the penitentiary. He says, "I would say is this where we get off?" and the deputy would "say No." However something has happened to clarify the situation for Monk because he tells Stevens, "I know right now" (51).

Summary:
