Notes:
Jason drives to the station where he finds two Pullman cars. He sees "a man in a dirty apron" come out from one of the cars. Jason gets out of his car and runs to the train car where he spotted the old man. The old man is singing. Jason attacks him and demands to know where "they" are. He calls the man a liar when the old man expresses confusion. The show leader comes to the old man's defense as Jason continues to demand for information. Jason hits the show leader and manages to escape until the old man comes at him with a rusty hatchet.
Summary:
Jason drives to the train station in search of Miss Quentin and the man with a red tie. When he accuses the show's cook of hiding them, the man attacks him furiously.
