Jason drives home. Though there are no lights on in the house, he knows they will all be looking out the windows. When he enters the house, he teases Luster about having tickets to the show. Luster lets it be known that he wants the tickets. Jason tells Luster he can have them for a nickel. Dilsey tells Luster to stop begging because Jason would never give him the unused tickets. Jason drops the tickets in the fire.
