Told
Date:
Wednesday, January 1, 1908 to Friday, August 22, 1913
Notes:

I selected the start date somewhat randomly because five seemed a reasonable age to start riding by Mississippi standards. LW
TMT: I agree. Faulkner had a pony at age 5.

Summary:

The Judge tells Ingersoll of how his son used to ride his pony everywhere, even to the "church" where the Judge himself once "regularly" went (790). He seems to have indulged the boy because after his wife died, his son was his only strong tie to other people.
