Notes:

Gowan vomits into a receptacle in the Oxford railroad station bathroom. He lights a match and leans against a wall to inspect some graffiti written there and sees Temple Drake's name etched in pencil. He falls asleep. He fights himself out of sleep, tries to crawl into the back of his car and bangs his head on the door in the process. He tries to run toward the station, falls, rises and runs on again.
