Chickasaw Plantation in "Red Leaves" (Location)

The large plantation that the Indians create in imitation of white plantations is mostly populated by slaves. Its icon on our map appears at the site of the lane the runs between two rows of slave cabins and essentially connects the plantation's main settings together. This slightly shaded lane is "scored with naked feet" and scattered with a "few homemade toys mute in the dust" (313).
