Boarding House in Go Down, Moses in "Go Down, Moses" (Location)

In "Go Down, Moses," Gavin Stevens lives in a "boardinghouse" (259). Presumably it is close to the Courthouse Square in Jefferson, since Stevens considers walking from there to the boarding house for the "noon meal" (259). Boarding houses in town that appear in Faulkner's other works are Mrs. Beard's Hotel or Mrs. Rouncewell's boarding house, but the text gives no indication that this is one of those.
